Messy Summer in Dordon, Grendon, and Baddesley
We are having a wonderful time together at Messy Summer—team members, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, and children all sharing in games, lunch, Bible stories with puppets, and craft activities.
The children ask, “Can we take the crafts home?” Parents say, “It’s so friendly—and what a good lunch!” Great-grandparents are telling friends how much they’ve enjoyed it. Our oldest participant is in their mid-eighties, while the youngest is just nine days old (closely followed by another at two weeks).
It’s been a joy to welcome families both from our parishes of Dordon, Grendon, and Baddesley, as well as neighbouring towns and villages. Each week we take our theme from the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5), flexing our hospitality muscles and loving those who come along.
