Church in a forest

By Lee Milward

Every month, rain or shine, we gather on the third Saturday to worship in God’s creation. Young people and families come together to explore the outdoors, encounter God in nature, and enjoy a space where they can ask questions, reflect, and grow spiritually. Activities range from prayer walks and creative worship to simple games and quiet moments of reflection, helping everyone connect with God and with each other.

Over the past year, more young people have joined us, discovering the joy of being outdoors while deepening their faith and cultivating meaningful friendships. 2023 concluded with our first-ever Forest Church Nativity—a magical, immersive way to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Children and adults alike experienced the story in a fresh, memorable way, gathering around the stable scene and participating together.

Forest Church has become a space where faith, fun, and nature intersect, creating lasting memories and spiritual growth for everyone who attends. We look forward to seeing this ministry continue to grow year on year.
